Before anyone jumps on my case I'd like to mention that I'm a town hall 10 and have been playing this game since July of 2014. That being said I have seen plenty of clan wars, from town hall 8 to town hall 10 I've played my part in the fun festivity. In this time I have seen a little bit of off matchmaking here and there, but in the past couple of months it has really gotten out of hand. Within my clans last 3 wars we have gone up from level 6 to level 7. Not incredibly high in the ranks but also not incredibly low. However, in our last 15 war matchups we have faced 8 level 10 clans, 2 level 11's, one level 2, one level 4, one level 5, one level 6, and one level 13. Among these wars there have been several engineered bases(bases with high town halls and low defense levels but high level troops and all 3 heroes). To go along with this, we have also faced very unbalanced matchups(last war our bottom was a max th6 going against a max th8) and my mirror was a medium th10(lvl 2 inferno towers, lvl 10 walls, lvl 12 archer towers, lvl 12 cannons, lvl 8 wizard towers, lvl 8 teslas, 2 lvl 3 xbows and one lvl 4. I have lvl 12 cannons, lvl 8 teslas, lvl 11 archer towers, 3 lvl 3 xbows, lvl 8 walls and lvl 1 infernos.) my clan mates at th10 have had the same issue where our mirror is always one step above our base defensively, and their troops are significantly better. I feel that troop level needs to be accounted in war balancing to cancel out engineered bases, and that the matchmaking system needs more balancing bc I know my clan isn't the only one facing the problem of very unbalanced wars, whether in our favor or against us it's still a problem.
